AFISH is the anacronym for "Aquarium Federation Of Independent Societies and Hobbyists."
It is the result of Joe Ferdenzi's realization that Long Island has a wealth of aquarium societies
and no large annual convention which was a shame. Joe called together members of the societies to meet to present the idea.
